Does anyone know if it's possible to start NOLF2 without a cd. Because it appears as if my NOLF2 cd1 has a crack in the center and now doesn't work. So I am unable to start NOLF2. Also since this is the case I will most likely not be in any matches or be playing at all for that matter, for a while until I can get a new one. Unless of course someone knows a way to start the game without the disc. ;D Thanks

Somehow it seems that UT2004 at first needs a cd, but after you've played it a few times, it doesn't need it anymore.
As for NOLF, just buy a new cd. They're cheap anyway and the money will help them make NOLF 3! ;D

LOL, Obi is Sonic is right. When you install UT without any patches you have to use CD. I thought that was stupid anyway. I mean really, what is the purpose of starting from a cd when all game files etc. are on your pc. They might as well put it all on there. That never made sense to me. More use of a CD means more wear and tear, more wear and tear means you'll need to buy another eventually and that means more $$$. I did try to make an exact copy of the NOLF2 CD when I first noticed the crack but at like 98% of the copy process I get ERROR!!!!! windows doesn't know what it is but ERROR!!!. I thank you for the skizzor info but a link would be nice too ;D I did check online and they have them at amazon.com for $9.97 USD So I will do that but I can use the skizzor thing until I get the new one.
Funny, when I was on amazon.com they had screenshots of the NOLF2 game also, but they had some of some fat lady in a booth that looked like she was working at a circus, and game characters that were skydiving and some other maps I'd never seen before. They had some that I did recognize but the others were a mystery!

Yay! Well, the file type was .rar so I just placed it in my nolf2 directory. I didn't know it was an archive file type. So I downloaded winsrar or something, and extracted it. Double clicked NOLF icon and started it did. Thanks evah so!

Stupid amazon.com, I knew I stopped doing business with them for a reason. Actually I got WinME upgrade from them $100.00 of course that whole thing was a joke. Wasn't til just before release of WinXP that microsoft released a patch because upgrade was crap WinME didn't work. Amazon says "sure you can return it, no problem. As soon as we get it we'll credit your card." Well they failed to inform me nor was it listed on their site that they were charging me a 50% restocking fee! I fell out! Haven't bought a thing from them since. And let me tell ya, I loves me some online shopping!!! Your loss amazon ;D
