As some of you may know, the server is back up and doing fine. We are now running the latest patch on it as well, fortunately gibgames did not charge for the reinstall of system files. UT2Vote and UTcomp16 are now back on there and I can't remember if AntiTCC needed to be running for matches or not...so let me know and I can get that back on there. In addition I have also begun re-uploading the maps...fortunately the redirect files are all still intact and so rather than search the internet for the maps again I am able to just download the compressed version from the redirect and uncompress them and voila!! ready for upload to server files...saves alot of time.
So far I have some of the AS maps back on but I'll try and get some of the ONS maps back on as well. If there are any maps that anyone would like to see on the server please let me know and if at all possible supply a link. Also I will try to get the xAdmin back online so that Mars can get in there and do his thing but UT2Vote does have the clan match setup and the password should still be the same. Also, Mars, I have something else installed only for admins and I will PM you with info.. ;D

I think that the admin stuff was messed up too. I couldn't log on to webadmin nor into UTVote in order to set things up for me and Dawgs.

If you had paid attention to my previous post you would notice that I said the webadmin had not been set up yet but that I would try to get that fixed up over the next couple of days. I will have to send you the new login info for UT2Vote seeing as how it is a diff password but the login name is the same. I am trying to get this setup amidst all the freakin drama that unfortunately is going on right now so please be patient. I did think that it was my fault that the server went down but it appears as if gibgames was installing the updated patch for UT at the time I was also uploading the ECE and CBP packs etc. so there ended up being a conflict in the files. Again Just and FYI , under no circumstances is the servers name to be changed or edited in anyway, even for match purposes eithere through UT2Vote, webadmin, or the .ini file. I will keep you updated with any new info.

Thanks beaves. Uh, yeah, sorry about my slowness, lol.
Speaking of server name changes, a good friend of mine, Toop, told me that recruitment goes much faster when the clan site and "recruiting" is included in the game-server's name. Just a thought, but if no-can-do, then it's all good.

Our clan site is listed in the MOTD but I don't want to list it as part of the actual server name, but maybe we'll do that for a brief trial period and see how it goes. But as far as the website, I don't want to list that as part of our server name seeing as how you can't miss it. I did get webadmin system installed and you are in there but you shouldn't need to use it to do a clan match, it's much simpler to use UTVote. I'll send you the username and pw, I think they are still the same but just in case

Alright! It's all good. (Though, according to toop, having "Recruiting" in the server name generally attracts people into that game that are looking for a clan.) Thnx!

Done!! Now Recruiting is stated in our server name as well as our MOTD and our website address. But I do think that I will change that cause the web address takes them to the main page so do we think the address should be directly to the forums or let them find the forums on their own from the main page? Oh, and I don't remember if I told you that webadmin is back up for you. Also, you never did let me know about AntiTCC

I didn't notice AntiTCC, for starters. It might have just been how great the server is, lol. For conclusions, it's a lot easier to list the page as our home site or www.tnt-hurts.com/main. Right now we're a little messed cuz we have this huge misspelling staring everyone down who goes to the main www.tnt-hurts.com. lol. However, I don't want to mess anyone into a billion /'s and numbers for our MOTD. No one would visit us at tnthurts.proboards.com cuz it's too long. A few more people would visit www.tnt-hurts.com/main, but the most people would visit www.tnt-hurts.com due to the ungodly simplicity of it. I mean, who can't remember "http://www.tnt-hurts.com"?
