Since Sonic has been gone, I've noticed that nothing has realy happened other than the spawning of several severs for our use and some recruits. It has come to my attention that it may be a long time until Sonic returns to power. In such a situation, inwhich our developement into an active and ass wooping clan is vital, we may need to decide on choosing someone to take charge or form an organization inwhich all people will contribute to decision making and the lot without the use of a leader.
So I give you 3 choices to debate over:
#1) We choose a leader who will take charge, organize the clan, and lead.
#2) We form an organization with no one person in High rank to make decisions as a group.
#3) Be a bunch of lazy basterds and keep going as we are.

Actualy, #1 was supposed to be temporary. Until Sonic reterns. Much like a second in command, except not mobster20, becuase he is not near active enough. But I do see were you're commin from.

Fool! Can you not comprehend?! Didn't think so... Anyways, what I was trying to say, is that by choosing option #1, w are not over throwing Sonic Goo, becuase when he returns, he is going to be back in power anyhow. In other words it's apointing a new 2nd in command who will actualy do something. Last I checked, Mobster20 was second in command, and he is doing NOTHING. He isn't even active. He hardly even plays UT2004.

1) We cant do that anyways, he has the site, and haguey and him have the boards. Therefore you cannot overthrow a leader with such power. I dont want to either, however in true blunt blatancy, he/they probably dont have time to spend with the clan much. Mobster is deep into his studies, and that is important. I would think your education and your work towards a good paying job is more important then an online groups social standing. That in part is why we are falling apart, simply because people are working in priority's in their lives outside of the virtual world.
2) You cant have that set diplomacy in place when people who are highly placed in control, have the means to do as they see fit. The only way diplomacy works is if the leaders themselves dont have power and are only given power by the people they serve.
I dont know about you, but having a temporary leader really cant make me get myself away from my word program or books, and I highly doubt it can bring spaz back, muchless Psycho, Mobster, Sonic, and Striker (he's here but he too has a lot on his mind.)
But with the opinion and voice I carry online I hereby announce two candidates if neccessary to lead whatevers left of the TNT Unreal Tournament 2004 Division to a competitive state:
]TNT[Obi
]TNT[Mars
]TNT[AnnaBeaverHauzen
]TNT[Maggot(8)
Your long everlasting veterans.

The problem I see with simply continueing to train is that we aren't realy training to begin with. Which is why we need to make some official decisions about starting training, becoming active in the field of matches, and overall a more active clan. I pointed out that we don't know when Sonic Goo will return and it may be eons before he does, so for the time being we need to get things moving before all our members go into a lackadaizicle state of such enormitty that we will not be able to get an active clan again.

If it is someone who is in temporary power, I don't see a huge issue with that, as long as it is understood that it is just a temporary assignment. With the second option that is given where decisions are made as a group, the only issues I see with that would be a seniority issue, where people who just come in maybe only a member for 2 days would be casting decisions on which direction this clan will take but on the positive side of that, there would be alot of input that could benefit us. On the third option, I totally agree with Obi, it's sucky-poo. On the issue of training, People don't really need to be trained, since most of us already come here have already been playing to some extent. They actually need to learn new gameplay technics, tactics, moves, targeting etc. that is why yeochins and I (and spaz when he could) are attempting to get these servers going, so that we have a place to teach and learn skills without additional players because it's hard to show someone something while you're getting blown up. The problem is, getting everyone to show for a practice, which by the way hasn't been scheduled once since sonic has been gone. We have all just been darting around doing our own thing, and there in lies the problem, "Our Own Thing" rather than the "Team Thing" And I haven't really been very busy at all for the last few months other than my recent trip out of town for a week. But now I'm home. If you check out the UT section it gives the IP of my server, it isn't exactly setup the way I would like(admin wise) but it is surely playable and I can certainly make it a passworded server if we would like to have a practice or session and I certainly don't have a problem with leaving it up most of the day if someone else would like to use it or giving admin control to one of the other higher ranking members i.e. Mars, Yeochins, Obi etc.

I wouldn't have a problem with Mars doing it in the interim. I could say I could do it but then it would go crazy and I'd be calling Mars going So, if Mars would like to be our fill in organizer, that would be OK with me, but I think that we as a group should be available to help him out as much as we can whenever he needs it!

Well... you know the first things on my to-do list would be aranging practises and registering TNT on TWL. Splitting into teams isn't realy important to our organaization and aranging matches with random clans won't be too helpfull, becuase it won't be as consistantly timed as playing in a latter. The practises and latter matches should also increase our activity, because it would give clan members better reasons to be online.
...And also, Anna do you realize that you're having hotlinkin problems with planetsmileys?
