It's time for a god damn cussing spree.
I am god damned tired of seeing nothing but this uber bullshit when no one shows up for anything. Just about thirty minutes ago. We were supposed to have a match against team global, but I was all on my lonesome. The first thing that went wrong was when Espionage set up a server on his comp so I could show him the location of a redeemer. This caused some oddity that caused problems so he couldn't do squat, and that includes turn the damn computer on. What else happened? Well... NO ONE f**kING SHOWED. Steele was on my first list for players, but were was he? In hell? I hope not. Yeochins was out with a girlfriend, so he's got his excuse filed. To top it off, we had abso-f**kin-lutely NO SUBS!
I'll admit that I haven't been doing my best with practises and all, but why do I have to continuously whine when you guys f**k it up? Every active member on IGL has captain status and should recieve emails partaining to the matches, which is why NO ONE, even the people that don't read these uber valuable forums, should have an excuse about not showing that includes "No one told me..."
Now, I could continue to ramble, but I think you all get the idea. One more of these and will hereby disbann this division. Not only have you caused my more trouble than 15 no-shows is worth, but I get fatigued out the ass whenever it happens. Anyone is free to try and pick up were I left off, but I will NOT have anything to do with this clan if this keeps up.

I would agree with that statement completely. I remember months before I took my leave we had good matches every weekend. Not just for 10-15min but for a good few hours. I don't think a disban is a bad idea but maybe a new plan of action should be taken first.
I know how I might change things but I think only the hardcore would care to stay through the process.

"Saterdays - yep. same time - toss up game mode. " try to be there
i say 'try' because I will probably remember 2 hours after it starts thats the reason i dropped out of igl's 1v1 ig ladder

Now see, that's the whole reason we're doing so poorly. Everyone just takes my word for it and doesn't bother with checking the official dates, so when I tell steele "Next Friday," he doesn't think "two weeks from now."
If the need is high enough, I will take the time to use and abuse the Match Updater thing that Steele programmed. It pretty much just lets you know when the next match it.

Obi, who is "we"? It certainly isn't the majority of this group. I'm highly considering stepping down and leaving, as stated in the first post. I've, of course, acsended from the idea of disbanning. The most apealing idea is that we just forget about the ladders. I don't think we need them. There are several clans that aren't bothering with ladders.
What do we say? No ladders? Shall we just play for the hell of it?

I like the ladders... We just didn't have any focus on them.

Why we bother with them if we don't focus on them?
I'll tell you what. We'll leave them for the meantime. Develope our clan and the lot so we can gain a better focus. When we first joined TWL, I was in a hurry to get our clan into the head of the everything. One thing that I should have learned by now is that developement under a clan, especially when I'm in charge, takes a long time and lots of effort. Until we can maintain atleast 10 active members at any one time, we just can't do this like we have been.
Now, don't mistake this for a quantity over quality type thing. There are teams on IGL that are only 4 people large. These people make it because they have the time, the communication, and they probably all live in the same neiborhood. We obviously aren't like this lot, which is why we need to front our developement rather than taking what we have and making use with it.

Perhaps, developing a more regularized routine for "matches" would help aleviate the problems, because it would be much easier to adjust a schedule that always has it on the same day/time. But of course your going to get that odd ball day where it just goes wrong, but for the most part it would work.
I guess thats the problems with ladders, your clan has to be on the edge waiting. Which basically explains why some of the best clans choose not to participate, simply because they dont have the means in every day life. We need to advertise TNT more, build a name, and possibly recruite more recruites under a different system.
E.G. ]TNT[ Alpha ]TNT[ Bravo ]TNT[ Cappa ]TNT[ Delta
and for new untrained recruits ]TNT[ Beta Team
This would allow us to recruit average level players, and "train" them to some degree. But it would also create backups, and a good way of sorting out who does what.
E.g. ]TNT[Alpha (would be us right now) would be more focused on just clan on clan, regular matches, or something or whatever.
While ]TNT[Delta for example would be more focused on CTF on IGL, etc, etc.
As players get better they can be switched around team divisions.
But that is just a suggested system.
The fact of the matter is our clan is becomming scarce, and if and when I get a chance I might give ]TNT[ A remake of their website, to at least give us a nice look.
Our UT Division is sort of dying, mainly because of life matters. I'm sure during the summer on free time the division will start kicking again, unless of course you have to do some work...

Well, like you said, Yeochins, we're very scarce now. Seeing as we're so scarce, we're too small for division in groups. As we look back into the past summer, when we were really alive and kicking, I start to want to leave this group less and less. This group is almost more of a familly then the one I live with. I have some very fond memories with the group. However, speaking of summer, there is a plan I would like to propose. Seeing as the clan does very poorly during the school season and winds up with a scarce amount of playing, we can simply stick to the scrims during our school season. Once summer starts to kick in, we can go horns first into ladders, leagues, tournaments, etc. What do yall say? The idea origionated with a plan for a band that's been sitting in the top of my head for a while. You see, I have a group of friends that play guitars together, and seeing as I am learning the bass, I figure I can join them, take a Music Theory class next school season, and the musical group can play primarily during the summer; recording stuff, playing gigs, etc. During the school season, we can just do stuff. Oh, and speaking of the past, here's a little banner that was made for the site a long ass time ago for the once-improving Call of Duty division headed by myself. Never took use...
