The group is failing in Unreal Tournament, kind of like ourselves. I proposed on their forum that we can merge. This would give both us and them a player-count jump to about 10 actives. That would get us set for a TWL 6v6 ONS ladder and give us a better center of action.
Of course, if we do this, there's a question that we need to ask. Shall we use the Steel Tempest name, the TriNitroToluene name, or make something new?
What do ya'll say?

This has nothing to do with those divisions, just UT. The UT division is practically it's own clan up against the rest of TNT. It's pointless to just let it be because nothing is going to improve in it if we do, just decline. Spaz has testified numorous times that we need more players if we're going to be the kind of clan that we are, and frankly, he's right. With only 6 or so active members, all of which don't pay a lot of attention and are losing all source of interest, decline is inevitable. We'll wind up as a bunch of n00blars that never get on and play. A merge would increase members' want to get on during the evening and play, which would increase our ability to show up for practices and matches and the lot.
And what about nolf2 and CoD? I don't ANYTHING going on with CoD. As far as I can tell, it's dead as a door knob.

So what kind of people are they? Would it involve a namechange? What other games are they active in? More details please?

They are a group of gamers much like ourselves. They're pretty dag gonned professional too. They also have the same membership problems that we have... Or atleast did. I had a chat with Toop of Steel Tempest, and he says that, seeing as they have already disbanned, the only person that we would get (variably.) is himself. So, that's one dissapointment, but one member is better than none. He'd be an incredible factor for us as well.

That's something we've figured out. Most people that join a clan improve by a huge amount. Infact, my CoD clan always tries to get the crap players that are fun to play with.
But the question still remains, "Who is still willing to join a clan?" This is something that is answereable with "Not many as of the recent times."
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Nothing happens in this clan during the school season. Just let summer kick in and there will be plenty of folks that are willing and actually have the time to join a clan. Let's just face it, we're a seasonal clan. Recruiting is, in fact, a first for us right now, but it won't happen too quickly until the time comes when players want to play again.
