One of the things that make NOLF so much fun are those cute little kitties. Here are some tips for how to use them: The best place to put them is around a corner, out of sight. The best corners are those where the chance that an enemy comes from behind (so he can take them out) is the smallest. Also, watch where you point that thing. There should be a more or less clear route between the kittie and the victim. This place is well hidden, but in plain sight when you've passed it. The reason it's still useful is that this is in your own base, in the doomsday room. There are usually some of your players there so the enemy will be fighting and not looking for cats. There is a good chance that he will come in range of the cat. Also, when there are bananas and traps on the stairs, he may try to jump diagonally off the stairs, which will bring him in the path of the kittie. Some people try to put cats on machines and such. This doesn't work. As you can see, I'm on red and the cat hasn't attacked me.

Now, how to deal with them? Of course, if you're lucky enough to come up to them from behind, you can easily shoot them. But what about the better hidden kitties? When you can only hear them and not see them (a bit hard to illustrate ;D) a grenade will usually do the trick. Another way to do it is more risky. Here you see me leaning around the corner so I can shoot it. This has several disadvantages. If you're not positioned well enough it will see you and kill you. Also, this takes time. And in that time an enemy can come up behind you or see you leaning. Nevertheless, it's still handy if you don't have any grenades on you.

Oh btw - if you're wondering about the title of this thread: that's the forum censoring itself again.
