Since the CS division is now available again, I thought I'ld let you all in on a little something. Incase you weren't up to date on your physics, the force of any moving substance can be calculated by multiplying the mass of the substance by the acceleration. In CS, both the mass and acceleration are given, allowing you to calculate which weapon is stronger/strongest. One example: Counter Strike's AK-47. You would notice the profectile weight is 7.9 grams and the muzzle velocity is 2329 Feet/second. 7.9 multiplied by 2329 is 18399.1 grams/square foot (Now a bullet is no were near a square foot in serface area, so saying a bullet produces 18399.1 grams of force is quite an exageration.) Then theres the world faved AWP The Projectile weight, 16.2 grams, multiplied by the projectile speed, 3000 feet/second, is 48600 grams/square feet. From this analysis, we can tell that the AWP's bullet has over 3 times the power of the AK47's bullet. Fire rate can influence the choice of the the AK over the AWP, but what the hell, now we know exactly the bullet-power coparison. PS. Apologies for the white areas on the images, paint isn't too smart now is it?
